Hikmah Solat

Solat dapat melapangkan rezeki,

terkawalnya kesihatan,

dapat menolak sebarang gangguan,

meneguhkan hati,

menghilangkan rasa malas,

mencerahkan wajah,

menggembirakan jiwa,

melapangkan dada,

menerangkan hati,

memperolehi keberkatan,

mensyukuri nikmat,

menjauhkan syaitan,

mendekatkan diri kepada Allah.

Solat juga mempunyai pengaruh ajaib

dalam memelihara kesihatan jasmani dan rohani,

juga mempunyai pengaruh ajaib untuk menolak

sebarang kejahatan dunia.

Rahsianya?

Solat merupakan alat penghubung hamba

secara terus kepada Allah.

Dengan solat, maka terbukalah pintu-pintu

kebaikan dari Allah swt.

a short update of what i did over the weekend.

attended my cousin's wedding function.

which was held at aloha changi cottage.

everything was so nicely planned out.

wedding of the year i shuld say.

pictures will say it all.

had a bad start in sch this term.

i dun like it when pple boss me around.

unless u're really my boss la rite.

since i'm leaving pretty soon for nie,

theres another teacher taking over me already.

and she's been ordering me around

like i'm her maid.

getting me to go to classes,

just so she can take her own sweet time up.

and asking me to leave anytime she wants.

wait. theres more.

she actually got me to carry out her own duties.

how fair is that?

hmph!

i've talked to my subject head about it.

just letting him know what has been going on.

and yes. i'm holding on.

and counting down to my last day.

my greatest fear...

is waking up to find out you're no longer here.

Yazid's comms parade was super-duper cool.
it was my first time witnessing such thing.
the way they march,
the way they turn,
the sounds of the marching,
it was awesome!

and i was so proud,
to find out that my fri end,
was the commander of his contingent.
which happens to be yazid's contingent.
way to go, boy!

this was what we resort to when we get too bored.
hah.
blame it on yazid lah!
we had to wait for him while he's having his 6 course dinner.

holidays are boring!
this is indeed me.
when its sch term,
i crave for holidays.
when holidays are here,
i'm bored.

i'm contemplating whether or not to take the hostel in ntu.
i want it because i want the experience.
i thought it sounds like fun.
heh.
another thing is, i wuld want to try out for floorball.
cca means ending school late at night.
form already filled up.
its a matter of sending it back to them.

the weekend trip to tioman was great.
snorkelling was fun.
i like it when i get to swim with the fishes.

not forgetting the company too.
they were great.
me and wati actually made new friends.

we extended our stay for a day more.
becoz it was really fun.
and so we culd go back with our new found friends.
heh. free trip home. *winks*

they are actually made up of 4 malay families from spore.
great people.
i really look forward to have another trip like this.

sch term 2 ends yesterday.
feeling both happy and sad.
both at the same time.
happy coz i noe i'll have a great holiday.
with overseas trips and whatnot.
sad becoz i'll miss my kids.
esp my p3 babies.
they always brighten up my days.

when sch starts next term,
i will no longer be teaching them.
instead i'll only be helping the teacher replacing me.
they were sad with the news.
its always hard when u have grown attached to them.

while i was out for learning journey yesterday,
my colleague relief my p3 class.
she made them make farewell cards for me.
which i have not read yet.
becoz i will cry!

and so i feel so motivated to teach after watching the movie.
i'm gona get the book and dvd.
well i gez in teaching line, u just need constant motivation.
especially when you are teaching the lower end classes.

this week is packed with teaching my kids oral.
it gets boring when you keep on repeating the same thing.
but i'm worried for them.

tell me what's wrong with the name Danish.
apparently, this old teacher (heh pardon me!) vett my p3 paper 2.
and she got me to change the name Danish to SALIM becoz its negative?
how nice...
when i looked it up to find the meaning,
it means intelligent...
so is intelligent a negative thing?
funny pple lah!

fc squirrettes manage to escape relegation.

few new faces with a much better performance this season.

end of div 1 marks the start of div 2 soon.

no more lessons but had to do invigilations.
